MMK-METIZ installed new equipment for the production of fasteners</h2> This year, the company installed a new equipment complex for the production of threaded fasteners with thread sizes M6 - M12 in the length range from 16 to 100 mm. Six cold heading and thread rolling machines of Chinese and Taiwanese manufacture were installed for the production of bolts. The total capacity of the complex reaches 2000 tons per year. New GOST on anchor technology has come into force</h2> From July 1, 2025, GOST R 72018–2025 “Mechanical anchors for fastening in concrete. General specifications” came into force. The Prommetiz Association summed up the results of the industry's work for June 2025</h2> According to the Association, the enterprises that are part of the association reduced the volume of shipments in physical terms in June 2025 compared to May. BMK launched a new line for turning and grinding the surface of wire</h2> Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant (BMK) has launched a line for turning and grinding the surface of wire rod and wire. The line is designed to improve the surface quality of wire rod and wire made of various grades of steel: low-carbon, carbon, low-alloy, spring, high-alloy heat-resistant, stainless. Such products are used in the automotive and mechanical engineering industries.
