After the commissioning of the new equipment, MMK-METIZ expanded its capabilities for the production of bolts from 16 mm in length, including products with a flange and an internal hexagon. The production line also includes M6-M12 screws with a cylindrical head and an internal hexagon DIN 912, as well as M6-M12 bolts with a hexagonal head and a flange according to DIN 6921 in strength classes 5.8, 8.8 and 10.9. In addition, the plant has mastered more than 40 new types of products at the request of consumers, and has also begun production of high-strength bolts of class 12.9 and class 12 nuts for critical structures.

According to the Prommetiz Association, the domestic market for hardware products remains in an unsatisfactory state. At the end of 2025, a decrease in sales volumes was recorded for most product groups compared to the previous year. In particular, sales of fasteners amounted to 71.1% of the level of 2024, nails - 78.7%, steel ropes - 78%, welding alloy wire - 74.1%.
The industry also pays attention to the significant share of imports in certain segments, which increases pressure on Russian producers. Against this background, enterprises are focusing on reducing costs, optimizing capacity utilization and improving production efficiency.

The company "New Technologies and Materials" from the Sergiev Posad District of the Moscow Region has expanded the range of fasteners by launching the serial production of washers by cold stamping. The new line includes products according to four state standards with a diameter of 1.4 to 6 mm. In the future, the company plans to master the production of washers not only from steel, but also from brass, bronze and duralumin.

According to the results of the first quarter of 2026, the sales volume of the enterprises of the Prommetiz Association amounted to 77.6% compared to the same period last year, and the revenue was 66.4%. The decrease in indicators was accompanied by a drop in the average selling price of hardware products. At the same time, almost the entire product line, with the exception of steel shaped profiles, showed negative dynamics.
